My name is Karen, painter since 2020 but my artistic career started long before, in my childhood. I was blessed to be born in Guatemala a small country in Central America with beautiful mountains and bright blue skies most of the year, hard not to feel interested in the beauty of nature and its complexity.

Over the years, thanks to constant practice and the support of my parents, I acquired the dexterity to draw in a more or less realistic way, but it was only when I arrived in France that I discovered painting. and all its nuances, it was like a revelation for me and this passion has become my vocation.

For the past three years I have devoted my time to learning to tame different pictorial techniques, watercolor, acrylic, gouache and oil painting, thus exploring the variety of possibilities that each of them can offer.

During my journey I discovered a theme that particularly fascinates me, figurative art specifically portraits and it is for this reason that I decided to paint portraits made to order because it is not only the painting a face but also his personality, including his way of facing life.
